Happy Birthday Landon, 5 Years old!

Sunday Landon turned 5 years old! On Saturday we had his kid party which was a costume party with 7 friends. Landon was a Dinosaur. We had a dragon cake made by a local lady who does them on the side. Then we had the relative party later that day with a pot luck.

Sunday we went to the children's museum and then did a pizza and movie for supper.

Happenings

We had a fun weekend. Ethan stayed over at a friends one night. We had Roscoe, Camille and Deke's dog spend the weekend. Sylvia loves to play with him. Landon and I played in the snow. I had some friends over an brewed 2 batches of beer. Kate got some sewing done. And we watched the Vikings win!

New years

Sylvia is talking so much lately. She calls Ethan, E-th-ee and Landon, Land-ee. We have her practicing Mom and Dad's names. She can say Kate but has a hard time with Ryan and we get Ran or some thing. Sylvia loves her dolls and usually you have to have one also.

Landon has so much energy and loves to dress up. He wears his fire fighter outfit and shin gaurds around or arm bands and his shield. That is if him and Ethan are not Ninja's (with ski masks).

Ethan is reading a ton. He loves science and the peanuts. Kate made him a yellow shirt with a black zig zag like Charlie brown's. I called him Chuck for the first day he wore it.

Happy Holidays

Well its been a busy holidays for the Thompson-Jewell family with lots of gatherings. Yesterday, Saturday, we took the kids to one of the biggest sled hills in town and had a blast. The snow was really fast. Ethan hit a jump and went way up into the air. Landon had fun pushing a snow boulder around and Sylvia had fun on the slide.

The kids have been playing with all there new toys and its fun to see their imaginations go.

Snowstorm fun

We woke up to big snow drifts. I had the drive way blown, a path to my shop made, race track and pile for a fort made by 7am. You might say I was excited to use the snow blower. Later the kids and I made a fort with 3 entrances and 4 tunnels in it. Then we had a snow ball fight.
